Bottom Brackets

CeramicSpeed PF4630 Bottom Bracket
$359.00 - $459.00
This bottom bracket is perfect for when you have a PF30, BBright, or 386EVO shell frame and want to install a crank with a 30mm spindle into the frame. All these frame standards have a 46mm inner diameter and smooth insides, though the widths vary from 68mm to 86mm. This bottom bracket features nearly zero loss of power due to friction, thanks to the CeramicSpeed's incredibly efficient bearings. Choose either our Standard or Coated Bearings—both have super-round, super-smooth CeramicSpeed balls rolling on hardened-steel races. The Coated version has a metallic coating laid onto the races, making them even harder and smoother and resulting in longer life and lower drag. They come installed in cups. 30mm spindles on cranks are increasingly popular because of the high stiffness and low weight. 46mm inner diameter bottom brackets are popular for the freedom they offer designers in building frames. Because of the variety of widths, the cups here extend into the shell and come with a telescoping spacer tube to further seal and stiffen the system. The bottom bracket is already stiff thanks to hard ceramic bearings and hardened-steel races. Thanks to CeramicSpeed, it also generates nearly zero drag. Standard Bearings typically have frictional drag of 0.3-0.4 watts per set. That's in the range of a 75% drag reduction versus conventional BBs. The bearings also last at least 3x longer than other bearings. You can change the grease to fine-tune your BB's performance characteristics. TT and Track, All Round, and LongLife are greases CeramicSpeed designed. The first has the least drag, while the last is the most durable. All Round, in the middle, comes standard in road bearings. In The Box - 2 cups with bearings installed - 2 1mm spacers - 2 0.5mm spacers - 2 dust covers - O-ring - Spacer tube - 10ml All Round Grease - Sticker sheet
CeramicSpeed BB30 Bottom Bracket Road and MTB
$439.00
The BB30 bottom bracket allows you to pair 30mm spindle cranks to 42mm inner diameter bottom bracket shells. Cannondale pioneered this standard along with specially-designed cranks and many have found the benefits to them. Road versions have a 68mm width, MTB has 73mm. These are also the bearings you can use to replace bearings in PF30 cups. You have two bearing choices. The first choice is our low drag, long life Standard Bearing, with hardened-steel races and our super-round CeramicSpeed balls. The second choice is our Coated Bearing, which uses those same balls installed on coated, hardened-steel races for longer life and less bearing drag. BB30 was designed to make the bike lighter: no cups, threading, or redundant metal, plus a lighter, stiffer crank. That's why the crank spindle is 30mm, which was a big jump up from square-taper spindles. CeramicSpeed standard bearings typically have frictional drag of 0.3-0.4 watts per set. That's in the range of a 75% drag reduction compared to standard bottom brackets. That's thanks to balls that are 100% smoother and 15% harder than the ceramic competition. The bearings last at least three times longer than other bearings. In The Box - 2x bearings - 2x 1mm spacers - 2x 0.5mm spacers - 2x dust covers - O-ring - 10ml syringe of grease - Sticker sheet
CeramicSpeed BB90 Bottom Bracket Trek SRAM GXP
$439.00
Trek developed their own BB standard to optimize their frame designs. BB90 has a 90.5mm shell width and 37mm inner diameter and is designed so that the bearings of external cups can hide within the frame. The CeramicSpeed kit comes as two bearings, which are then pressed into the frame. Those two bearings consist of either CeramicSpeed Standard or Coated Bearings. Both feature super smooth, super-round CeramicSpeed balls rotating in hardened-steel races. The Coated version has a metallic coating laid onto the races, making it even smoother and harder, resulting in longer life and lower drag. - The BB90 standard is limited to Trek. This kit makes it possible for 24/22mm cranks from Quarq and SRAM to mate with your Trek. - The Standard Bearings last at least 3 times longer than other bearings. That's a result of hardened-steel races and ceramic balls that are 100% smoother & 15% harder than the ceramic competition. These bearings have a frictional drag of 0.3-0.4 watts per set, which boasts an average 75% drag reduction compared to stock BBs. - The Coated Bearings increase bearing life by 60% and reduce drag by 50% compared to Standard Bearings. In The Box: - 2 bearings - 2 dust covers - GXP wave washer - Plastic cable protector - 10ml syringe of CeramicSpeed All Round Grease - Sticker sheet

CeramicSpeed BB92 Bottom Bracket for Shimano MTB
$459.00
The BB86 mountain bike standard was designed to integrate bearings into the bottom bracket for weight reduction. This kit works with the standard: it consists of two cups that are pressed into either side of the shell. There are two versions of this bottom bracket. Both come with CeramicSpeed Bearings installed into cups. The first is our long-life, low-drag Standard Bearing with hardened-steel races and our CeramicSpeed super-round, super hard balls. The second is our Coated bearing, which uses those same CeramicSpeed Balls installed on coated, hardened-steel races for longer life and less bearing drag. This CeramicSpeed BB86 Bottom Bracket meshes with cranks that have 24mm spindles, including both Shimano and FSA. CeramicSpeed standard Bearings typically have frictional drag of 0.3-0.4 watts per set. That means an average 75% drag reduction compared to standard bottom brackets. The hardened-steel races feature CeramicSpeed Balls that are 100% smoother and 15% harder than the ceramic competition. The CeramicSpeed Bearings last at least three times longer than other bearings. Coated Bearings drop friction further and increase lifespan to applying a coating to the races. The coated races see a 50% drag reduction and an improvement in bearing life of 60%. In The Box - 2 bottom bracket cups with bearings installed - 2 dust covers with integrated spacers installed - Spacer tube - 10ml syringe of LongLife Grease - Sticker sheet
CeramicSpeed BSA Bottom Bracket for SRAM DUB MTB

CeramicSpeed BSA MTB Bottom Bracket
$459.00
BSA is equivalent to English threading. English threading on MTBs mean a 73mm-wide, 34mm-inside-diameter shell with reverse threading on the drive side. It's the most common threaded standard employed today. This kit works with 24mm diameter cranks, such as Shimano, FSA, Rotor, and others. Choose between two bearing types for the cups. Standard Bearings have low drag thanks to hardened-steel races and our Ceramic balls. Coated Bearings have those same balls installed on coated, hardened-steel races for longer life and less bearing drag. For MTBs, English threading, thanks to history, is pretty much the one threaded standard. It works great. 24mm spindles easily fit through the shell, allow for large bearings to be employed in the outside cups. What's more, they rarely creak and seal up well. Lots of things slow bikes down; bearings shouldn't be among them. CeramicSpeed Standard Bearings typically have frictional drag of 0.3-0.4 watts per set. That's in the range of a 75% drag reduction compared to standard bottom brackets. The bearings last at least 3x longer than other bearings. Coated bearings have even less drag. These bearings come packed with LongLife Grease, best for muddy conditions. For less drag when riding in cleaner environs, you can coat the bearings with either All Round Grease or lowest drag TT and Track Grease, which is designed for clean conditions. In The Box - 2 threaded cups with bearings - 2 dust covers with built-in spacers - Spacer tube - 10ml syringe of LongLife grease - Sticker sheet
CeramicSpeed BSA for Shimano Road
$459.00
BSA is equivalent to English threading. English threading on road bikes mean a 68mm-wide, 34mm inside diameter shell with reverse threading on the drive side. It's the most common threaded standard employed today. This kit works with 24mm diameter cranks, such as Shimano, FSA, Rotor, and others. Choose between two bearings for the cups. Standard Bearings have low drag thanks to hardened-steel races and our Ceramic balls. Coated Bearings have those same balls installed on coated, hardened-steel races for longer life and less bearing drag. English threading is easy to work with, and 24mm spindles easily fit through the shell, allowing for large bearings to be employed in the outside cups. Put more of your energy into forward motion by reducing frictional drag wherever you can. CeramicSpeed Standard Bearings typically have frictional drag of 0.3-0.4 watts per set. That's in the range of a 75% drag reduction compared to standard bottom brackets. CeramicSpeed balls are 100% smoother and 15% harder than ceramic competition. The bearings last at least 3x longer than other bearings. In The Box: - 2 threaded cups with bearings - 2 dust covers with built-in spacers - Spacer tube - 10mm syringe of All Round Grease - Sticker sheet
CeramicSpeed BSA30 MTB Bottom Bracket
$459.00
BSA comes from Birmingham Small Arms, aka English threading. English threading on mountain bikes means a 73mm-wide, 34mm-inside-diameter shell with reverse threading on the drive side. It's the most common threaded standard employed today. This kit allows you to fit 30mm cranks, like those from Rotor or RaceFace, to fit in the tight space of this 30mm spindle. CeramicSpeed Coated Bearings are hand-built with unique CeramicSpeed Ceramic Balls installed on coated, hardened-steel races for longer life and less bearing drag compared to standard bearings. In The Box - 2 threaded cups with bearings installed - 2 1mm spacers - 2 0.5mm spacers - 2 dust covers - O-ring - 10ml syringe All Round Grease - Sticker sheet
CeramicSpeed PF30 Bottom Bracket for Shimano MTB
$459.00
The PF30 standard has opened design possibilities for mountain bikes. Our CeramicSpeed PF30 Shimano MTB Bottom Bracket gives you the ability to install Shimano and other 24mm diameter spindle cranks on your PF30 MTB. Our PF30 cups have extended sleeves and join with a center section, reducing the likelihood of creaking and increasing the reliability of the system. There is both a Standard and Coated version. Both feature super smooth CeramicSpeed Balls and hardened-steel races. The CeramicSpeed Coated Bearings have an additional benefit: a 3-micron thick metallic layer over the races. This addition makes the races harder and smoother, lowering drag and increasing life. The CeramicSpeed Standard Bearings have only 0.3-0.4 watts of frictional drag per set, an average drag reduction of 75% compared to stock bottom brackets. This is the result of great design, including hardened-steel races and CeramicSpeed Balls that are 100% smoother and 15% harder than the ceramic competition. They also last longer. If you want longer life and even lower drag, opt for the CeramicSpeed Coated Bearings. Life increases by 60% and drag drops by 50% compared to our CeramicSpeed Standard Bearings. Performance can be tuned by changing the grease. LongLife Grease comes installed, but can be changed for lower-drag All Round Grease for lower drag and cleaner riding conditions. In The Box - 1 bottom bracket with CeramicSpeed bearings installed - 2 dust covers - 5 0.85mm spacers - 10ml syringe of LongLife Grease - Sticker sheet
Chris King ThreadFit 30 Bottom Bracket w/o Fit Kit
$222.00
Why We Make It We build bearings, so we build bottom brackets. The humble threaded bottom bracket is often the first part installed on a new frame, and the last one the rider thinks about during the life of the bike, but the bottom bracket has a direct effect on pedaling efficiency (read: speed). This is where you put your power into the bike. Having the absolute best interface between your effort and your bike's forward momentum makes your ride better. The Threadfit™ 30 is how we make bikes that take 30mm cranks the best they can be. Why You Want It ThreadFit™ 30 fits 30mm spindle cranks in 68mm BB shells and SRAM DUB cranks. Our ThreadFit™ 30 bottom bracket is silky smooth and long-lasting thanks to our legendary, angular-contact bearings, both steel and ceramic, the best in the industry. They actually get faster over time as their contact surfaces wear, because we build them to ultra-tight aerospace tolerances, using machined, Delrin-spindle sleeves to create a perfect, and precise fit between cranks and frame. That's where the low drag and butter smooth feel come from. You want this bottom bracket because it offers super low drag. You want this bottom bracket because it can be opened, cleaned, and repacked for years of faithful service.
